On July 31, the naming and delivery ceremony was held for the offshore wind power installation platform W1000-1 built by Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co. (SSIC). The platform was named "CSSC Offshore 101".

"CSSC Offshore 101" is the first multi-functional platform mainly for offshore wind power installation built by SSIC for China Shipbuilding Offshore Wind Power Company of CSSC.

The platform is 93 meters long, 41 meters wide and 7 meters deep. Its designed draft is 4.8 meters, the working water depth is 45 meters, and working area is offshore. The operational performances, variable load carrying capacity and dynamic positioning system are in the leading level in China. Its scalability, local system automation and intelligence, green environmental protection and other aspects are in the forefront of the same type of domestic platforms, and it is listed as the marine economy innovation development demonstration project in Qinhuangdao city.

During the construction of the platform, the project team of SSIC cooperated closely with the production and design units, carefully prepared and worked together steadily. The cadres and staff worked hard in the production line despite the severe cold and heat. With the active cooperation and strong support of the ship owner and inspection, the project team overcame many adverse effects, such as the shortage of manpower and the failure of service providers to arrive at the factory on schedule, and completed a series of major nodes, to ensure the smooth construction of the project.
