On Jan.5, 2017, the No.67 308k DWT VLCC” Rui Hong” built for Landbridge Group by DSIC was named and delivered. Meanwhile, DSIC signed an overall strategic cooperation agreement with Landbridge Group and Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings officially, where the three parties shall establish the strategic tie-up in the fields of newbuilding, project investment, project finance, investment attraction and capital operation. Up to now, DSIC has achieved a good start in production of 2017. Landbridge Group Chairman and CEO Ye Cheng and DSIC leaders Liu Zheng, Yu Fengping, Cai Zhuyi and Deng Changlian attended the ceremony.

” Rui Hong” is the 3rd VLCC built for Landbridge Group by DSIC. As the 7th generation of super eco-shiptype, the carrier continues to adopt the safe, economic and green design proposals, such as excellent hull form, new-type large-diameter efficient propeller, composite device with independent intellectual property right, patented anti-sediment, and much lower M/E daily fuel consumption at the same cargo capacity, which is nowadays the most advanced design, the most environmental protection and lowest fuel consumption in the world.  ” Rui Hong” has set a new high in the completion of pre-trial engine room, deck coating and fine-looking shipbuilding, 22days ahead of annual production schedule to conduct sea trial, which has received a high praise from the shipowner for its good sea trial integrity, superb performance and quality and zero pending item prior to delivery.
