Days ago, there was happy news of Haiyang Shiyou 943 Jackup constructed for CNOOC by DSIC Offshore, which has accomplished many operation tasks ahead of schedule in a safe, efficient and high-quality way during the operation of Yinggehai project, and gained high recognition from the international customers, while the operating team has won its first title of honor “Flydragon Team” from the Shell
A series of Flydragon awards are set up for joint safety culture establishment with its partners by Shell China, which is a high recognition for HSSE（Health，Safety，Security，Environment）behavior and activity of its partners. The laurel gained by the Haiyang Shiyou 943 Jackup operating team is not only a positive affirmation in their team work, but also benefit from the remarkable platform building quality and superior technical strength of DSIC Offshore, which has laid a solid foundation for further cooperation between the two parties.
DSIC Offshore is the shipyard in having built the maximum JU2000E type jackups in the global market up to now, among which the Haiyang Shiyou 943 Jackup is the 23rd JU2000E type 400-foot jackup. The platform was delivered smoothly on January 20, 2016, and already acquired the charterparty from Shell, the world largest petroleum company. The platform has adopted a globally advanced design of F&G JU2000E type with an operating water depth of 400 feet and max. drilling depth of 35000 feet, and classed in CCS and ABS. The performance of Haiyang Shiyou 943 Jackup is pretty remarkable during its operation, proving again the market position of DSIC Offshore in the field of jackup construction, leading domestically and first class internationally.
In recent years, DSIC Offshore has delivered more than 100 offshore oil and gas equipment and projects of various types to the owners domestic and abroad relying on its outstanding offshore project EPC capacity, establishing a good brand image internationally.
