Four frozen trawlers built by DSIC Industrial Development Co., Ltd for Dalian Zhuanghe Fishing Company were successfully delivered in Changxing Island. This is the project of DSIC to take advantage of the favorable opportunity for the renewal and renovation of national standardized marine fishing vessels, and it is also the first time that DSIC Industrial Development Co., Ltd has realized the order receiving, design, procurement, construction and delivery in the fishing vessel field.

These four ships are all steel fishing vessels with a length of 47.98 meters, a width of 7.6 meters, a design draft of 3.2 meters, a displacement of 650 tons, a capacity of 20 people, and a range of 5,000 nautical miles without replenishment, mainly engage in offshore trawling operations, and stably meet the requirements of International Navigation Area Class I. 

During the construction process, DSIC attached high importance to the project and well deployed it, the project personnel gathered their strength and worked closely together, all departments and construction units changed their concepts to overcome difficulties, which made the production schedules of the four ships consistently. From order receiving to the delivery, it only took nine months, with berth period of 50 days, underwater period of 43 days, sailing test of the four ships completed within one week. Their performance, quality and appearance have been highly praised by the shipowner, fishing inspection organization and so on, especially the Ship No.3 and the Ship No.4 are regarded as “impeccable” by the shipowner. It has laid a solid foundation for DSIC to further develop the market of fishing vessel.
