The No.5 72k DWT product carrier  constructed for COSCO Shipping (Dalian) Tanker Co., Ltd  by DSIC was named for delivery on Dec.5, where DSIC leaders Liu Zheng and Deng Changlian attended the ceremony, and the honored guest Lady He Nan named the vessel Lian Gui Hu.
Lian Gui Hu is tailor made for COSCO Shipping (Dalian) Tanker Co., Ltd  by DSIC, the first series of LR1 72k DWT oil tankers with 36m broad hull, shallow draft and energy saving in the domestic market, and the 5th ship in the same series as well. Her sailing limit is non-restricted waters, endurance 18000 nautical miles, loa about 220m, lbp 216 m, breadth moulded 36m, depth moulded 20m, and max. deadweight 72821.9 tons.

Her total on-water period is 56 days, the shortest one among the same series, 14 days shorter than the pre-ordered vessels. The evaluation score of her sea trial integrity is 98.77 points, the highest in the same series; all sea trial test items have been finished one time with only a total time of 77 hours used, the shortest in the same series and smooth during the whole sea trial. Major performance indicators of the sea trial are excellent in full compliance with the contracted standards. Through effective control of vibration and noise design, the real ship gets good comfort level, whose noise and vibration control has reached higher level based on meeting the rules and regulations.
